Hi guys! I hope you guys had a wonderful Christmas and can you believe it's almost 2014????? Since I probably won't update on New Year's, image!!!!
I still live in the 2007 time period, I don't really know what's so special about 2007 for me but it's sort of like a benchmark year for me. And I just realized it's been 7 years since 2007....omg

It's been a while since I last posted...I haven't really been in the mood to blog lately /procrastination.

But let's get onto the review~

I was fortunate enough to receive the highly-raved Cure Natural Aqua Gel (250 mL) as a present for Christmas so I decided "hey let's get off my lazy butt and do a review"

Cure Natural Aqua Gel (250 ml)
(Ranges from $30-$40+ USD)

If you don't know about this product, it is the #1 best-selling exfoliate in Japan- apparently selling 1 bottle every 12 seconds

What they claim:

  • Gentle and natural exfoliating gel that removes dead skin effectively without causing undue stress to the skin.
  • Removes only unwanted dead skin.
  • Neither dries or thins your skin, preventing irritation and vulnerability to sun damage.
  • Gently and effectively removes old and dead skin cells to promote skin renewal and prevent skin problems.
  • With regular use, Cure keeps your skin healthy, smooth and glowing.
  • Contains 90% revitalized hydrogen water and natural plant extracts from aloe vera, gingko and rosemary.
  • Does not use preservatives, fragrance, artificial colorings or alcohol that can irritate skin.
  • (Courtesy of YesAsia)
    My Experience:
(I would yield caution if you don't like semi-close up pictures of skin)
**Pictures edited w/ adjusted brightness & contrast so you can see the results better unless stated

Watery consistency, looks slightly milky. Doesn't smell like anything.

After rubbing in for 10 seconds:

    Q: What are those flakes?
A: My dead skin that came off after rubbing in the product. Gross right? But it's oddly satisfying and mystifying at the same time. But this is most likely why it's Japan's #1 selling product. Because you actually see your dead skin come off.

Here's another picture in case you are interested:

    Now here's an unedited picture

The pink circle is not representing my dead skin but where I rubbed the product in. Now divert your eyes to the outer edges of the circle, can you see a difference in the brightness in my skin? It may be hard to tell in this picture (and I purposely didn't edit this so you get the real thing) but if you can look close enough, there is definitely a difference.

When I first applied this to the left side of my cheek and washed the whole thing off, I didn't notice at first but I my cheek was visibly brighter than the rest of my face xD! Thank you to my mom for pointing that out.

My skin is visibly brighter, softer, and smoother.

I like to dub this product as "the little miracle product"

    Conclusion:
    1 billion stars / 10 Seriously.
    Pros:
Does what it claims. Enough said.

    Cons:

On the pricey side. (Ranges from $30-$40 USD)

    Tips:
    • When I say you do not need a lot, you really do not need a lot. I hardly press down the pump and the amount of product that comes out covers one whole side of my cheek.
    • Do not apply when your face is wet.
    • Only need to be used 1~2 times a week. (* I recommend once)
    • Do not apply on the face all at once. Instead, apply in specific areas of your face at one time. For example, my routine is forehead, left cheek, right cheek, nose, chin. Since on my first trial I spread the product all over my face, after I finished one area and went to the next, it was all dried up! However, this 'technique' prevents this from happening
    • Use a moisturizer afterwards to retain moisture in the skin.

It's been a long time since I did an OOTD post hasn't? I've had so much outfits I've wanted to share but I've been too lazy to take a picture of them >.< I'm really mad at myself because the colder seasons are when I really have fun picking out outfits because I loveeee layering. Anyways, let's get on with the outfit~

    Daisy Sweater - Urban Outfitters
    High Waisted Jeans - Thrifted
    Black Knee High Socks
(+ Black on Black Low Converse)

Guys, can you believe it? My daisy sweater only costed me $4.99!!! It was originally $60 > $30 > then one of the workers was discounting it right in front of me to $9.99 + 50% off!!! It must have been my lucky day...

    EXO Inspired Outfit: 세훈 (Sehun)

To celebrate EXO's comeback, "Miracle In December," I've decided to do a series of inspired outfit posts featuring my favorite casual outfits from each member!

    Let's start with the maknae~

    imageimage

    Monki Blair Denim Shirt
    Splendid V Neck Tee
    Rock & Republic Mixed-Media Pants
    • Women's Nike Cortez Lite Txt Casual Shoes
    • CARHARTT 'Sport' Beanie
    • Aeropostale Double Heart Necklace

Ditch that sweatshirt and sweatpants! This outfit is perfect because it doesn't sacrifice comfort for style. It's more like a revamp to comfort, giving off the impression that you gave in some consideration to preparing yourself instead of wearing baggy sweatshirts and sweatpants. But in reality, you probably only gave 1 minute of consideration because that's how easy this outfit is, seriously!
I love how this outfit can be worn by both men and women and look equally as awesome on both genders. I also love how Sehun's outfit gives off a young urban appeal with the harem / low-crotch pants.

PS: ( The beanie Sehun is actually wearing in the picture is the Carhartt Watch Cap Beanie!)

What is your favorite song from EXO's album? I LOVEEEEEEEEE all of the songs but I have to say I like 'The Star' a tad bit more! The raps just make me go ajslkfjsdlkjflka

Make sure you read part 2!! It's when things get juicy

I actually didn't get anything except for a t-shirt (which I didn't pay for. THANK YOU MEL IF YOU ARE READING THIS!!!) because everything is so expensive. My friend also bought 4 unofficial lightsticks prior to the concert.

    The t-shirts were $40!!! So expensive T~T

    Fancy now aren't we?

I originally didn't want anything because the merchandise didn't really appeal to me. But my friend bought it for me without me knowing  Thank you thank you again if you are reading this! I would have definitely regretted it if I came home empty handed.

Even though this t-shirt was really expensive, the quality is tremendously good! It's probably the best t-shirt I own quality wise. These shirts were really well-made. I wish I bought a zip-up...but they were $70...

These are the lightsticks we got~

That's it for my little INFINITE series! I had fun reliving the whole experience and I hope you did too!

HAPPY 1 WEEK + 1 DAY OGS CONCERT ANNIVERSARY!!!

(Actually it's more like Happy 1 Week +1 Day OGS Post-Concert Depression Anniversary!!!)

I can't believe it's already been one week since OGS- it literally feels like it was just yesterday.

--I've decided to split this into 3 parts. Part 1 is Pre-Concert and Concert. Part 2 is Post-Concert. Part 3 is a look at the merchandise.--
    --------------------------------------------------

    PRE-CONCERT

I arrived in NY around early afternoon with my best friend and her sister. I was pretty much lost when we started walking and all of a sudden we stopped at this gray steel looking door. Then I realized we were at the back door of the concert hall and some of INFINITE's staff and security were clearing away some cones on the street.
We just missed INIFNITE go into the building T~T

    BUT

We decided to stick around for a few minutes because they were doing soundcheck and we could make out some songs (they were playing Destiny I think) Then one of the security guards told us to go behind a boundary thing so we were like "We gotcha".
I didn't realize it but I was in the very front and in the middle...I felt so exposed.
Then all of a sudden two black Chevy's pulled up and in my mind I was thinking
    "Crap crap crap Crap."

A whole bunch of people started coming out from the cars and my mind was in a total state of frenzy that I did not register anything until I heard my friend yell, "DONGWOO OPPA"

    My mind started working again.

I saw Dongwoo. I freaking saw Jang Dongwoo.

He was so cute and handsomer in real life.

All I remember was he was wearing a hoodie and he waved hi to us the whole duration of time before going through the door. He almost missed the door though because he was too preoccupied waving hi though LOL. cute.

The rest of it was a blur.

I know for sure Sungjong came out of one of the cars but I don't remember what happened after that. Hoya, Sungyeol, Myungsoo, Woohyun, and Sunggyu might have came out of the cars too but I only know for sure about Sungjong and Dongwoo. I remember one member was wearing a gray hoodie with the hood up and looking down so I couldn't really tell who it was. It was either Myungsoo, Sunggyu, or Sungyeol. Heck. For all I know they were all coming out of the cars. I really don't know anymore.

No pictures for that part because I was too slow and too stunned to get my camera out of my backpack.

    ----------------------------------------------------------
          CONCERT

Unfortunately my SD card didn't have enough memory and I was stupid to not bring a back-up so I couldn't take many photos/videos. image I'm going to keep my videos to myself because of my screaming that sounds like a little bird so yeah o.o

Originally we had GA floor standing but we realized once we got there that we wouldn't be able to see anything. So my friend and I went to one of the security guards and asked/begged if we could go to the balcony which had a really awesome view. Thankfully the guard was really nice and escorted us to the second balcony. THANK YOU SECURITY GUARD!!! I love ya

    Me, Friend's sister, Friend

Let me just say, they are AMAZING live. They didn't lip-sync a single song.

I don't remember what song this is...

    Sungjong x Sungyeol DJ + 1/3 Stage
(Sungjong is supposed to be one the left...Sungyeol on the right)

    INFINITE H!!!

Myungsoo's Solo "Love you Like You" Stage!

Woohyun's "Beautiful" Solo Stage! (He was so close to where I was, just a floor down T~T)

I have no clue which performance this is...

    Hoya so happy LOL

    Leaving the stage~

"내꺼하자" One of my favorite INFINITE songs image

Ok I'm pretty sure this was during one of the talks and were singing Happy Birthday to Dongwoo~ INFINITE started to pour water onto Dongwoo and he started crying

Sometime during this talk Sungjong and Myungsoo waved to me/my friend/ my friend's sister. We waved our hands until they were about to fall off.

    울지마~!

    인피니트 짱!!! 화이팅~!
