EXO Inspired Outfit: 세훈 (Sehun)

To celebrate EXO's comeback, "Miracle In December," I've decided to do a series of inspired outfit posts featuring my favorite casual outfits from each member!

Let's start with the maknae~

Monki Blair Denim Shirt
Splendid V Neck Tee
Rock & Republic Mixed-Media Pants
  • Women's Nike Cortez Lite Txt Casual Shoes
  • CARHARTT 'Sport' Beanie
  • Aeropostale Double Heart Necklace

Ditch that sweatshirt and sweatpants! This outfit is perfect because it doesn't sacrifice comfort for style. It's more like a revamp to comfort, giving off the impression that you gave in some consideration to preparing yourself instead of wearing baggy sweatshirts and sweatpants. But in reality, you probably only gave 1 minute of consideration because that's how easy this outfit is, seriously!
I love how this outfit can be worn by both men and women and look equally as awesome on both genders. I also love how Sehun's outfit gives off a young urban appeal with the harem / low-crotch pants.

PS: ( The beanie Sehun is actually wearing in the picture is the Carhartt Watch Cap Beanie!)

What is your favorite song from EXO's album? I LOVEEEEEEEEE all of the songs but I have to say I like 'The Star' a tad bit more! The raps just make me go ajslkfjsdlkjflka

APINK NoNoNo Inspired Outfit

Back again with another inspired outfit post, this time with one of my favorite girl groups, APINK and their latest song "NoNoNo".

Concept: Many adjectives come to mind when I think about APINK. Young, fresh, cute, girly, sweet, colorful, and so on. "NoNoNo," is a perfect song for the summertime (even though summer is coming to an end) and to go with a summer song means summer outfits. This includes bright, cheery colors as well as pastels. In the music video, they are seen dancing with sailor style dresses on (this helps emphasize the choreography part where they sway their hips) with cute pink pastel high top sneakers. Off stage, they are all wearing blue clothes with different patterns and use coral as a statement color.

My Outfit:

I can literally hear you thinking, "Wait. That dress isn't a sailor dress nor is there any blue in the outfit or coral." Don't worry. I know. This is simply my take on what I would imagine APINK wearing by keeping their style in mind. Young, cute, and girly.  You can't possibly imagine someone in their mid twenties to thirties wearing this could you? I think that would look ridiculous.

I also tried to keep in mind some of the latest trends like the color mint and the oh so lovely flower headbands. I think the mint Vans complement the cupcake dress very well, don't you think? (I'm very proud of this outfit hahaha.)

EXO 으르렁 (Growl) Inspired Outfit (for girls)

Quick update because I've gotten hooked on this blog.

If you didn't know, I am a HUGE fan of EXO and a HUGE fan of their new song 으르렁 (Growl) >///< They are all so handsome~ So I decided to do an inspired outfit from their latest music video for 으르렁 (Growl).

Korean Ver.:

Chinese Ver.:

Concept: It is really obvious but the clothing theme for this music video is uniforms. But a slight twist is the "bad boy" look with sleeveless vests and snap backs. (Not to mention their hair colors that would never be allowed by Korean schools *cough cough LuhanSehunBaekhyunKrisJonginKyungsoo cough cough*) If these boys were just ordinary people, I imagine them as a big group of your neighborhood boys who skip class once in a while, love to dance, and are fashionable.

My take on their outfits:

Jersey Blazer: H&M ($34.95)
Chiffon Blouse: H&M ($20.15)
Skater Skirt With Braces: Asha ($23.27)
Nike Dunk Sky Hi Wedges: Nike ($120)
Watch: Emporio Armani ($175)
Black Teeth Snap Back: Fashionunion ($18.62)

Pointers:
Because we are going for the "bad boy" look or in this case "bad girl" look, keep the blazer unbuttoned. This way, you look more laid back and could see the skirt's braces which also adds to the "bad girl" look. The Nike wedges also serve as a great multifunctional sneaker. It gives you both the added height and style.

Side comments:
I tried to keep this outfit both affordable for the average person but also "splurgable" for those who are more fortunate or are willing to splurge on a few items here and there. Because this is outfit is for girls, I wanted to add a feminine touch with the skater skirt but also keep the "bad girl" feel to it.

I hope you enjoyed this outfit and don't forget to subscribe for future posts similar to this!
